About us

Who We Are

The Roseberry Ruskindale Road Neighborhood Association (RRRd NA) is a group of neighbors working together to build a connected, safe, and vibrant community for everyone who lives in and around our streets. We are proud to represent a multicultural, intergenerational group of families committed to supporting one another and shaping the future of our neighborhood—together.

Our Mission

To create and maintain a community that offers quality of life for our multicultural, intergenerational families for years to come.

What We Do

Community Advocacy

We advocate for safety, sustainability, resiliency, and connection by:

  • Partnering with local and state government offices (Mayor’s Office, Governor’s Office, Attorney General, Police, and Fire Departments)
  • Collaborating with nonprofits and businesses that serve our community
  • Hosting neighborhood meetings to share information and gather feedback
  • Organizing social events to bring neighbors together

City of Boston Liaison

As a registered association, we serve as a point of contact with the City of Boston by:

  • Holding abutter meetings for local development projects
  • Sharing surveys that help us understand and communicate our community’s needs
  • Supporting local schools, especially Chittick Elementary and others within the 02136 zip code

Collaborating Regionally

We work with other neighborhood groups and citywide initiatives to make sure Hyde Park’s voice is heard—especially when it comes to shared spaces and resources like:

  • Cleary Square
  • Riverside Shops
  • The Neponset River
  • Local commuter rail stations

Our Neighborhood

Our core area includes 10 main streets

Roseberry

Ruskindale

Taunton

Radcliffe

Ranley

Rainier

Blake

Greenfield

Rugby

Ralston

Other nearby streets in the 02136 zip code are also welcome to participate! To be officially included in the association’s coverage area, a street just needs to:

  • Assign at least one street captain who helps with outreach and communication.

We aim to build a culture of ongoing participation, not just outreach when something urgent comes up. By staying involved—attending meetings, sharing updates, and building relationships—we make our community stronger for everyone.

Membership

Who is a member?

All residents of the listed streets are automatically considered members of the association.

Are there dues?

No dues are required. We welcome voluntary donations, which are managed by the association treasurer to support events and neighborhood activities.

  • What can members do?
  • Attend neighborhood meetings
  • Share your ideas or concerns
  • Join in social events and projects
  • Help shape the future of our community
